Avon Anew Alternative Clearly C 10% Vitamin C Serum

Comment: I've been using this serum for a couple of months and I absolutely love it! I'm 28 years old and I used to break out occasionally ever since I was a teenager and this product virtually eliminated this problem. I was also starting to show some fine lines on my forhead and now those are gone as well. People have been complimenting me on my appearance a lot lately too and this is the only thing I've added to my otherwise bare-bones regimen (I wash my face twice a day and exfoliate it once a week; I rarely moisture and use suncreen once in a blue moon).
It does feel a bit sticky so I use it sparingly and only at night. It spreads very well though, so one pump should be enough to cover your entire face. The smell has never bothered me. I also think it's the best thing to use after a day at the beach. I have never applied it very close to my eyes though.
I don't know what it might do for older or more problematic skin, but for me at least it has evened out and cleared my complexion to a remarkable degree and I have ordered 3 botles of it, as AVON appears to have discontinued this product. I am at a loss as to why they'd discontinue such a popular product.

Comment: I purchased it a while back, and like most things, didn't give it a shot...recently I was reading about antioxidants (vitamins E and C) and I remembered I had it.
First thing I noticed was that it had gotten a bit darker than I remembered, but in the bottle it says that it's normal, so my husband and I decided to try it out (we both have dark spots on the high parts of the cheeks).
The scent is not pleasant, the dispenser is not the best out there, and since it is a bit thick, pumping it out might be tricky; other than that, I recommend it to everyone with hyperpigmentation problems, for ours are less noticeable in a period of 2 weeks.
Now I am not saying they are gone, but can really tell the difference, and my husband has noticed too, for he reminds me now to put it on at night.
Start with washing and toning, then the serum, then a moisturizer...you can actually make it a part of the famous three-step routine.

Comment: I've been using the Avon Vit. C for about a month and have yet to see a noticeable affect on my uneven skin tone. The product's texture is nice but I do not like the metalic scent left on my hands. I have to wash my hands immediately after using it then use some hand cream to get rid of it. It lingers for the next 24 hrs. if I don't wash it off. I am more sensitive to scents than most people I encounter though. I find myself looking forward to when I am finished with the bottle and trying something new.
