I have very problematic skin so I'm always trying out new products in search of beautiful skin. My sister-in-law recommended Clinique's line of skin care products, so I decided since I'd tried everything else, I'd give this one a shot too! I have been so pleased with the results. A lot of products can feel really harsh on my skin, but this one is nice and mild. I feel refreshed after using it and the results are fantastic! After about a month of using it, my breakouts are almost non-existant and I have fresh looking skin. This is a great face wash and I'd recommend it to anyone! They make different kinds for each individual skin type, so make sure you get the right one for you.

I recently walked in to a Clinique make up counter with some pretty severe skin issues. My skin was cracking and my make up was a blotchy mess. I REALLY looked bad in that tell all department store lighting.
I got a consultation and a freemakeover from the woman behind the counter. When she started with a big list of products I would need for skin improvement, I got a little skeptical, and didn't want to spend a lot of money. But I wanted results so I figured I would try.
I have to say for my skin this has been one of the best investments I have made. It is so gentle and light, and comes out in a foam. My skin feels like heaven after a facial wash.
As was recommended to me, as a compliment after I wash my face, the mild clarifying lotion. This gentle toner debuffs those dead skin cells. These products are wonderful for dry skin, or if you are like me I have severely sensitive oily skin, and this has not made me greasy at all.

I agree that it makes your (or my anyway) skin feel a bit dry but the reason I say it's worth it is because:

1. it's clinique. The best skin care products I've been able to find over the years, for my skin anyway, which is combination if not leaning toward dry.

2. It's gentle enough without being too gentle and what I mean by that is that if you went any softer, your face wouldn't feel like it was getting cleaned - you'd feel like you were cleaning it with a lotion, e.g. as skin feels when cleaning with Cetaphil liquid soap. All you need to do is put on your face lotion and/or cream when you get out of the shower and you're good to go. At times I forget to put on lotion and I do notice my skin feeling a tiny bit tight but within 20 minutes or so that feeling is gone. I've also used "all natural" skin cleaning products that have herbs and or fruits in the products and they - each and every time - make my skin burn a little and sometimes even turn a little red...Read more
