I can see how this product can confuse a consumer. What does it do? Aromessence who, what? I'll bet it's because this is highly specialized product that only a trained specialist would refer to. It is super pricey because the essence it is derived from takes a very long time to extract and it is hard to find. It has the most unique, yet pleasing smell, and its consistency is like very thick, velvety vaseline (ooo, ahh). It is to be used for (insert drum roll): scars, my friends. Scars. BUT, you must be absolutely diligent in its use (use several times a day for optimum effect)and DO NOT SKIP A DAY! This product works when applied ONLY to the scar tissue. Now let me tell you a little story: after my esthetician recommended I use this on a nasty scar on my leg, I used it day and night religiously for 6 months (and there is still lots of product leftover; a little goes a LONG LONG way). This is a very unique product - no other skincare line has anything like it. I've used it for 15 years - I put it on chapped lips, under my eyes at night, on burns - anywhere my skin is compromised and sore. I put it on my babies' chapped skin when they were little. It has a vaseline-like texture initially, but after a few moments of warming on the fingertips, it becomes creamy. Although it is expensive, one jar typically lasts almost a year.
