Nivea For Men Active3 Body Wash for Body, Hair & Shave, 16.9-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3)

I love efficiency. Previously, I've been using Dr Bronners peppermint as a bodywash, shampoo and shaving (works fantastic for shaving, after about a week of your skin adjusting to it). The good Doctor was pretty decent, but the Nivea Active 3 intrigued me. God knows, the shower and bathroom are littered with Nivea products for The Girl... and she has a skin care regime that puts a 3rd degree burn victim to shame, so she knows what works. Plus, it is less expensive than the Dr Bronners and is made in Germany (you know, the Germans make good stuff).

First off - it smells quite nice. Not too overpowering, not flowery, but not some douchey overly masculine scent (i.e. not like Axe). Second - it feels really nice. Most soaps have a sort of astringent quality that leaves rinsed flesh feel sort of dry. Dr Bronners makes you feel like the desert where nuclear weapon tests are conducted (vis-a-vis moisture). This all-in-one wash is great. Saves a lot of time in the shower, all I have to do is get a little in my palm and I can clean my whole body including my hair, and I'm good to go. It leaves a nice smooth feeling on the skin and does a great job with the hair as well. Only negative is that for shaving this is ok, I still prefer an actual shaving gel.

There are so many products just like Nivea For Men Active3 Body Wash for Body, Hair & Shave, 16.9-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3) but this one claims to go even a step further, it is also a shaving cream. After a while it makes a person wonder what is really going on? Shampoo for the hair, soap for the body and shaving cream to boot? I tried it in each of its advertised capacities and somehow it seemed to work but in the end I decided to use mostly as a body soap since it was easy to use since it develops an effortless nice cleaning lather. As a shampoo I guess occasionally might do the job but I am still conditioned to use a full fledged shampoo for most of the time. As a Shave Cream I am still partial to Edge products but must admit I was able to shave when I tried it. I guess that just to know it can do all three is its real attraction.
