Summary: First timer impression 2010-01-30
Comment: I have never used shaving soap and a brush before. I used a badger brush to apply this soap. I had no idea if I was doing it right - how wet vs how soapy I should get my face, I have no complaints. I haven't used it up yet so I can't say how economical it ends up being. I'll update this review when I know that. I have no complaints.

Comment: I decided to try the Proraso Soap Cup since I liked their shaving cream so much (the kind that is in the tube). I am much more happy with the soap cup. Used with a badger brush, I am not sure when this stuff will run out. You only need to put a little on the end of your brush and it will lather up very nicely on your face and will last for 3 passes.
Proraso has a great eucalyptus scent and it feels good on your face. It rinses off clean and does not dry out your skin.
It may cost more than what you would pay for a regular soap puck, but I think it is well worth it.

Summary: Good shave, smell is almost unbearable 2010-01-21
Comment: Dont get me wrong, this stuff is a truly great shave. I recommend the other flavors without hesitation. But the eucalyptus scent is just too strong. I come out of the bathroom smelling like I shaved and washed my face with a christmas tree. It's a nice scent, I like it, but there's just way too much of it. I give the other, subtler scents 5 stars.

Comment: This product is excellent. Lathers well, cools my skin between passes. Used to use those canned gel's filled with ingredients I cannot pronounce. Proraso shaving soap works much better for me.
